SPOKANE — The Kalispell Black & Blue dominated the Spokane Goth to win its first 15s game of the season 62-23 on Saturday.
The Black & Blue (1-0) controlled from the start, playing through its forwards to pull away in the physical matchup.
Matt Gash-Gilder scored four tries to lead the team in scoring, earning player of the match honors. Daniel Long had three tries and Tucker Nadeau one try and six conversions.
A pair of first time 15s players, Jaycob Serrano and Tanner Russell, rounded out the scoring. Kalispell will play its first home game of the season next week, hosting longtime rival Bitterroot at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Evergreen Junior High.
