A Kalispell man caught in a drug sting admitted on March 30 to selling drugs to an undercover informant.

Justin Jose Romo, 23, pleaded guilty to criminal distribution of dangerous drugs and criminal possession of dangerous drugs in Flathead District Court.

In November 2016, an informant told the Northwest Drug Task Force that Romo had agreed to sell an eight ball (3.5 grams) of methamphetamine.

Court records state the informant allegedly met with Romo at a store in Evergreen and purchased 1.75 grams of meth with pre-recorded money before turning it over to the Drug Task Force.

Sentencing is set for June 15.

If convicted, Romo could face up to life in prison and up to a $50,000 fine.
