Was Obama team working to undermine Trump transition?

WOW! Can this piece-of-work we call the Congress and the drive-by media be any more pathetically one sided? Can their emphasis on character assassination and process overshadow the truth any more than they have obfuscated the truth thus far?

We the People know one fact: Shortly before the Obama administration left office they arranged for the widespread dissemination of raw intelligence by the NSA to 16 domestic intelligence agencies and, perhaps, several foreign agencies including personal communications involving members of the Trump campaign and transition teams with foreign leaders, communications in which the names of American citizens were illegally unmasked.

Is there one piece of evidence that the Trump campaign colluded with any Russian agents to influence the 2016 election? To quote Obama, “Not even a smidgen ...!” At least as far as I have seen. In fact, though it is likely that Russia was responsible for hacking and leaking the embarrassing emails from the DNC, other than our often incorrect intelligence agencies saying they have high or moderately high confidence, I have seen no smoking gun indicting Russia.

On the other hand, if we ignore the character assassination of Devin Nunes and listen instead to his words, multiple members of the Trump transition had their names unmasked (a felony subject to a 10-year jail term). Why? Who would benefit from casting aspersions on the Trump team or even more importantly who would be interested in what conversations Trump team members might be having with foreign leaders? I’ll give you one guess.

So If I were an outgoing president and wanted to get an idea of what plans and policies an incoming president of the opposite party might have (plans that might disrupt all my excellent work for eight years), might I tell my security team to listen carefully to all major foreign leader conversations and report back any information on Trump plans either in Trump member conversations with foreign leaders or conversations between foreign leaders that mention members of the Trump team? Then after receiving that information, I arrange for any information that might damage the new Trump presidency to be leaked to any of the sympathetic drive-by press.

Sound ridiculous? You better listen to an interview on MSNBC on March 2, 2017, with Evelyn Farkas, an Obama assistant secretary of defense. In response to a question about her role in gathering intelligence on Trump’s team and any ties with Russia (her geographical area of responsibility in the Defense Department) she said, “I was urging my former colleagues and, frankly speaking, the people on the Hill ... get as much information as you can.” She then said that her big fear was, “... if [Trump staffers] found out how we knew what we knew about their ... the Trump staff dealing with Russians ... that they would try to compromise those sources and methods, meaning we no longer have access to that intelligence.”

Though liberals claim she was referring to maintaining information about Russian interference in the election, her last statement is pretty damning. I suppose she just mis-spoke, as all liberals are allowed to do with impunity (as opposed to conservatives who must resign, recuse, or be fired after every slip). Call me a conspiracy theorist or call me crazy, but, hopefully, without a Justice Department that covers up illegal operations, such as Fast and Furious, the IRS scandal and Benghazi to name a few, we shall actually get some answers and some guilty government employees will go to jail ... maybe. I must admit, I am not that optimistic.
