Full moon spotted in Whitefish

Three possible transients were reportedly seen showing off their rear ends to passing motorists on Central Avenue. The three men were asked by Whitefish Police to move along before their cabooses caused a collision.

A hospital patient was reported for being too rowdy, fighting with his nurses and trying to leave without checking out.

A woman called the police when she heard several gunshots going off near her home on Baker Avenue. Closer investigation revealed the shots were fired by police officers practicing at the shooting range nearby.

A couple of tattooed potty mouths were reported for yelling loud obscenities outside a business on Central Avenue.

An intoxicated driver was seen allegedly driving up and down alleys and crashing into the occasional building. Officers were unable to locate the suspect or verify any property damage.

A Columbia Falls Police patrol car reportedly got into a tangle with a fire hydrant. According to the police report, no damage was done to the fire hydrant. The same could not be said for the patrol car.
