No. 24792 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR RURAL SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 156 (BIGFORK STORMWATER IMPROVEMENTS) RE: ASSESSOR NO. 0014999 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on September 5, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. the Board of County Commissioners will conduct a public hearing on the recalculation of the special assessments for RSID No. 156. On August 26, 2015, the Board of County Commissioners of Flathead County, Montana (the "County"), adopted Resolution 2398D (the "Resolution"), a resolution creating Rural Special Improvement District No. 156 (the "District"), for the purposes of financing the costs of certain local improvements (the "Phase IV Improvements") to complete the Bigfork Stormwater Project (the "Project") and for paying the costs of maintaining the Bigfork Stormwater system and paying costs incidental thereto. The property assigned Assessor No. 0014999 is a new condominium unit that falls within the District boundary of RSID No. 156. Assessor No. 0014999 was not established at the time of District creation and, therefore, is not currently on the RSID No. 156 District Assessment Roll. Montana Code Annotated § 7-12-2151 mandates that an increase in the number of benefitted lots, tracts, or parcels within the boundaries of the RSID requires a recalculation of the amount assessable to each lot, tract, or parcel. It is proposed that the property assigned Assessor No. 0014999 shall be incorporated into RSID No. 156, and this property shall have the same assessments levied against it starting with the 2017 tax year as all other properties included within the boundaries of RSID No. 156, now and hereafter. The assessments for all other properties included within the District shall be reduced accordingly to reflect the addition of Assessor No. 0014999, now and hereafter. On Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. in the Commissioners' Chambers, Third Floor, Flathead County Courthouse, 800 S. Main, Kalispell, MT, the Board of County Commissioners will conduct a public hearing and pass upon all objections, whether made orally or in writing, at the public hearing to the levy of the special assessments for Assessor No. 0014999 and the associated adjustments to all other properties included within the District. Dated this 21st day of August, 2017. BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS Flathead County, Montana By: /s/ Gary D. Krueger Gary D. Krueger, Chairman August 23, 30, 2017 MNAXLP
