Edwin James Criswell, 54

Edwin James Criswell passed “into God’s light” at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017, after a six-month battle with cancer, including a broken, extremely painful right leg.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl, at the family home just outside Kalispell; his mother, Grace Criswell; his sister, Bobbette Carr; three children and a number of grandchildren.

He was born in Spokane and leaves behind a 35-plus years best friend, “Crash” Derrick Sims.

Ed was a caregiver all his life and cared for many animals in need of help. His deep faith in Jesus Christ help him through this struggle.

A small memorial service is planned for 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17, at the Hampton Inn, with Pastor Larry Lautaret officiating.
