The parent of a girl whose service dog was reportedly stolen two months ago allegedly saw a woman walking the dog in gas station parking lot, according to Kalispell Police Department call logs. The woman walking the dog reportedly told the parent that her boyfriend bought the dog in Idaho. Upon hearing the dog’s story, the woman agreed to give the dog back to its rightful owners.

A man’s husky reportedly escaped from him while out on a golf course. The dog reportedly ran across the course to the 10th green, where it allegedly caught, killed and proceeded to eat a deer fawn.

A brindle pit bull was reportedly caught chasing deer in Woodland Park and taken to the county animal shelter.

Several residents reported their Christmas decorations stolen from their yards. One person claimed the thief “cut the cord off Santa … and took him right out of his boots.”

A group of three teen Grinches reportedly vandalized multiple Christmas displays south of Three Mile Drive, including an inflatable Christmas dinosaur. The teens were allegedly seen and reported by multiple residents across town.

Upon their arrival at work, employees at a hair salon reportedly discovered a dog in their stockroom. Employees were unsure how the dog got into the store or the back room. The dog’s owner was located before law enforcement could respond.

Another vandal reportedly tampered with a Christmas tree in someone’s front yard, allegedly destroying the strands of lights. The reporting party said they just wanted the incident logged in case the “Christmas hater” was located.

A woman reported a third-grade girl to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office for continuously bullying her son for two years despite multiple complaints to the school. According to the mother, the alleged bully reportedly told her son she would kill him and successfully coaxed other children into hitting the boy. Officers told the woman to continue working with the school, as the alleged bullying was “not a law enforcement issue.”

Gas was reportedly stolen out of a trailer in Kalispell.

Residents off U.S. 2 reported finding a man walking around with a cane after allegedly getting kicked off an Amtrak train.

A man reported his neighbor for borrowing several items, including several hundred dollars worth of scuba gear, and failing to return it. When the man confronted the neighbor, the man allegedly told him to “call the law.” So he did.

A Saint Bernard mix was reportedly found on East Reserve Drive and transported to the county shelter.

A teen reportedly found a “mysterious iPhone” in his backpack. The phone had been reported missing earlier that day and was returned to its owner.

A burglary was reported at a pharmacy on Baker Avenue. According to a Whitefish Police report, a ceiling tile had been removed and the reporting party suspected the burglar gained entry through the roof. The suspect allegedly made a mess of the business before taking off with several pharmaceuticals.

A woman reportedly hunkered down in a business bathroom for an hour, allegedly kicking out any other women who tried to enter. The woman was reportedly crying and screaming when she was removed and sent on her way.
