William 'Bill' Alfred Bowles Jr., 68

William “Bill” Alfred Bowles Jr., 68, of Bigfork, “went to join his heavenly Father” on Friday, Dec. 1, 2017.
Bill was born on April 30, 1949 to William Alfred Bowles Sr. and Ruby (Orser) Bowles in Modesto, California. He passed away at home due to long time complications from COPD.
A tribute to Dad by William Bowles III:
“The lovely human being that is the best dad on earth
Always was happy
Even if he suffers from COPD,
He is still happy.
He may not show it all the time,
But even if he doesn’t,
He is still beaming with ginormous, super contagious, happy smile and positivity.
We love you dad, and always will love you dad, even to the day you pass away and are no longer with us, we will still love you, even when you are in heaven.
We love you Dad.
We always will.
Please love us back no matter where you are.
Everyone loves you, Dad.
Everyone always will, also.
You are our hero.
You are our life.
You are our everything.
Even if you are here or not.

Bill proudly served in the United States Army and was in the Vietnam War. He met his beautiful wife, Fawn, in May of 2001. After a few years of dating, it was obvious that they were meant to be together forever. On Sept.11, 2004, among family and friends, Bill and Fawn were married. They shared 16 wonderful years together, filled with laughter and love.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents William Alfred Bowles Sr. and Ruby (Orser) Bowles, and his brothers Kenneth Bowles and Keith Bowles.
He is survived by his wife, Fawn Bowles; and his children, Jonathan (Ariel) Stene, Valerie (Dean) Stanford, Sheila (Leonard) Leineweber and William Bowles III. He is also survived by his sisters, Candy Broadway, Phyllis Bowles and Sherry Miller; along with numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
There will be no funeral services at this time, but a memorial will be planned for the spring.
