Kalispell local chased by feral feline

A feral cat has been tormenting a resident of Twin Peaks Road in Kalispell, allegedly chasing the person as they leave their house. The resident spoke with Flathead County Sheriff’s Office about how to handle the cat’s unwanted advances.

A stalemate persists between the cats that roam a different neighborhood in Kalispell and a resident who threatened to shoot them for using his barn as a litter box. The man was informed he could not shoot the cats and has since contacted animal control. Animal control informed the man that they were out of traps, and he does not want to purchase traps or file a civil suit against the cats’ owner(s).

A herd of domestic rabbits appeared on someone’s property in Columbia Falls. The property owner made no indication as to where the rabbits came from, but had questions about how to get rid of them.

Two runaway cows took a stroll down Farm to Market Road after escaping from their home on Rhodes Draw in Kalispell.

Someone reported a Play Station 4 and two controllers stolen from a home in Kalispell. A friend of the homeowner said the items were present when they left the house. The owner later returned home to find the doors unlocked and the items missing.

A woman reported derogatory comments spray-painted at the end of the driveway at her home in Whitefish. The woman was unsure whether the message was random or directed at her.

Someone made a report after allegedly spotting a 2- or 3-year-old hanging out of the passenger side window of a moving car in Kalispell.

Someone reported watching a woman take a vacuum off a shelf in a store in Kalispell to the Kalispell Police Department. The woman then allegedly “did a return” with the vacuum at customer service before returning to her shopping.

Mailboxes on Juniper Bend suffered a beating when they were allegedly vandalized with eggs.

Someone reported a “suspicious male” walking down an alley armed with a butterfly knife and a baseball bat. The person making the report allegedly believed the male was “looking for a fight or waiting for one to come to him.”

A bank ATM was reportedly tampered with. The bottom cupboard door was allegedly pried open, exposing the dial that opens the safe.

A husky reportedly charged a couple in Whitefish and attacked their dog as they were walking to their mailbox, according to the Whitefish Police Department. The couple’s dog allegedly sustained a bite to the throat.

What was originally reported to Columbia Falls Police Department as a suspicious character turned into a petty theft when a man who was said to have gone in and out of a store in Columbia Falls multiple times allegedly stole a muffin and cheese stick.

Someone in Columbia Falls reported a white Jeep stolen after the vehicle was allegedly taken from the driveway. The Jeep was seen headed toward the high school, and was reportedly very low on gas.
