Barbara Kemler, 85

Barbara “Barb” Kemler, 85, passed away Jan. 11, 2017, with her family by her side.

Barb was born Sept. 22, 1931, in Vale, Oregon.

Barb was married to Robert Kemler in Missoula in December of 1950 and was preceded in death by him in March 2009.

Barb grew up in western Montana and lived in Albany, New York. White Bear Lake, Minnesota, Rollins and Lakeside. Barb was an excellent bridge player, with exceptional culinary skills and loved to travel and was well known and admired along the west shore of her beloved Flathead Lake.

Barb is survived by her son Steven Kemler and companion Kelly Susen, of Missoula.

Memorial Services and a celebration of Barb’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at the Lakeside Chapel with a reception to follow. Cremation has taken place.

Memorials may be given in Barb’s honor to the Lakeside Community Chapel, Museum at Central School, West Shore Community Library and West Shore Food Bank.
