No. 24212 NOTICE OF PASSAGE OF RESOLUTION OF INTENTION WESTSIDE ZONING DISTRICT The Board of Commissioners of Flathead County, Montana, hereby gives notice pursuant to Section 76-2-205(5), M.C.A., that it passed a resolution of intention (Resolution No. 678AX) on January 25th, 2017 to change the zoning designation in a portion of the Westside Zoning District from R-1 (Suburban Residential) to I-1 (Light Industrial). The boundaries of the area proposed to be amended from R-1 (Suburban Residential) to I-1 (Light Industrial) are described as: Parcel 1: A tract of land 482.00 feet long and 422.00 feet wide located in the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 30, Township 28 North, Range 21 West, P.M.M., Flathead County Montana, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point 30.00 feet West of the Northeast section corner of Section 30, which said point is located at the intersection of the North boundary line of said section with the West boundary line of the county highway; thence South and along the Westerly boundary line of said county highway, a distance of 30.00 feet to the True Point of Beginning of the tract described herein; thence South and along the Westerly boundary line of said county highway, a distance of 422.00 feet; thence West and parallel with the North boundary line of said section, a distance of 482.00 feet; thence North and parallel with said Westerly boundary of said county road, a distance of 422.00 feet; thence East and parallel with said North boundary line of said section, a distance of 482.00 feet to the True Point of Beginning. Parcel 2: A tract of land 382.00 feet long and 30.00 feet wide situated in the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 30, Township 28 North, Range 21 West, P.M.M., Flathead County Montana, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point 130.00 feet West of the Northeast section corner of Section 30, which said point is located 100.00 feet West of the intersection of the North boundary line of said section and the West boundary line of the county highway; thence from said Point of Beginning running South and parallel with said Westerly boundary of said county road, a distance of 30.00 feet; thence West and parallel with said Northerly boundary of said section, a distance of 382.00 feet; thence North and parallel with said boundary of said Section 30; thence East and along said North boundary line, a distance of 382.00 feet to the Point of Beginning. Parcel 3: A tract of land 100.00 feet long and 30.00 feet wide situated in the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 30, Township 28 North, Range 21 West, P.M.M., Flathead County, Montana, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point 30.00 feet West of the Northeast section corner of Section 30, which point is the point of intersection of the North boundary line of said section with the Westerly boundary of the county highway; thence from said Point of Beginning, running South along the Westerly boundary of the said county road, a distance of 30.00 feet; thence Westerly and parallel to the Northerly boundary of said Section 30, a distance of 100.00 feet; thence North and parallel to the Westerly boundary of said county road, a distance of 30.00 feet to the North boundary line of said Section 30; thence Easterly along said section line, a distance of 100.00 feet to the True Point of Beginning. The regulations defining the R-1 (Suburban Residential) to I-1 (Light Industrial) zones are contained in the Flathead County Zoning Regulations, on file for public inspection at the Office of the Board of County Commissioners, 800 South Main, Room 302, Kalispell, Montana, at the Flathead County Planning and Zoning Office, 40 11th Street West, Kalispell, Montana, and on the Flathead County Planning and Zoning Office's website, at: http://flathead.mt.gov/planning_zoning/downloads.php. Documents related to the proposed zone change are also on file for public inspection at the Office of Board of County Commissioners and the Flathead County Planning and Zoning Office. For thirty (30) days after the first publication of this notice, the Board of Commissioners will receive written protests to the change proposed for a portion of the Westside Zoning District from persons owning real property within Flathead County whose names appear on the last completed assessment roll of Flathead County and who either are registered voters in Flathead County or execute and acknowledge their protests before a notary public.
