Dogs reported for 'serial pooping'

Dogs were reportedly defecating on a bike path and on residential properties, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office report. Owners of the alleged serial poopers were given copies of the city’s dog ordinance by the property’s landlord.

Two males allegedly emerged from the brush near a local store carrying what were reported to be “a sawed off shotgun” and “a .22 caliber rifle.” Upon investigation, authorities found the guns to be toys used for video gaming and noted that they were “obviously fake.”

Someone reported seeing a person climb from the front seat to the back to “beat up” the back seat passenger while the driver allegedly attempted to stop the situation. An officer found the vehicle in a pharmacy drive-thru. The fight was determined to be between two teenage siblings. The driver, their mother, said she would handle it.

A man lost his car in a parking lot, and authorities were called to help find it.

A father cornered his daughter in a store in Whitefish and called in for backup after trying to take the 16-year-old to a boys and girls ranch, according to the Whitefish Police Department.
