Donna Kurtz, 55

Donna (Udell) Kurtz, 55, passed away Jan. 24, 2017 at her home in Somers due to cancer.

She was born on Aug. 12, 1961, in Paterson, New Jersey. She was raised in New Jersey. She was a graduate of Morris Knolls High School in Rockaway, New Jersey, and of the Spectrum Art Institute in New Jersey.

Donna married Matthew Kurtz in 1989 in Missoula. They had been married 27 years.

She worked in advertising, was a freelance artist and self-employed as co-owner of the Lakeside Dairy Queen with her husband. She served on the Missions Committee of the Community United Methodist Church of Bigfork.

Donna also enjoyed photography.

She was preceded in death by her father, Stan Udell.

Donna is survived by her husband, Matthew Blaine Kurtz, of Somers; her mother, Dorothy Murray, of Newfound-land, New Jersey; and children, Blaine Kurtz of Somers, and Julie Kurtz of Lakeside; brothers and sisters, Lori Joyce of Alexandra, Virginia, John Udell of Chester, New Jersey, Sheri Silverman of Newfoundland, Amy Weiss of Newfoundland, and four stepbrothers.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18, at the Community United Methodist Church of Bigfork.
