EUREKA — Troy hit 11 3-pointers in a hot-shooting performance to beat Eureka 65-60 on Tuesday in a District 7B boys basketball play-in game.

The Trojans moved on to the district tournament with the victory, riding a wave of points in the second and third quarters.

Troy outscored Eureka 23-11 in the third quarter, building a 16-point lead entering the fourth, just enough to hold off a Lions squad that found its range late, cutting the lead to within three points with 23 seconds to play.
