Owners get terrible housewarming gift

Renovations to an old home reportedly revealed a large blood stain on the flooring underneath old carpeting that the new owner was ripping up to replace. The homeowner contacted the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office to make sure no foul play was involved.

Someone reported a mountain lion attack on Gilbert Lake Drive in Kalispell after a dog was allegedly mauled at the person’s home. The dog was taken to an emergency veterinarian and officers were advised to shoot the cat if seen.

Children were reportedly crossing a field on a neighbor’s property when the neighbors come out and allegedly began cursing at them for trespassing. The children’s mother reported it was an ongoing issue between the families.

A man approached a couple on their property, claiming he had been beaten up and nearly thrown into a river. The couple allowed the allegedly injured man to wait in their barn for authorities.

A caller said he suspected his landlord had put a pick through his window. The man told authorities the landlord was “upset.”

Marijuana was allegedly found in the backpack of a 14-year-old at a local school.

The driver of a shuttle for Cabin Fever Days reported someone had broken into his vehicle while it was parked and allegedly stolen tools, a fly rod and a Yeti cooler.

Alleged “drug addicts” were reportedly sent to a local school by a man in jail, to deliver Valentine’s gifts to his daughter and facilitate a phone call between the two.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office was called to a home to help remove the body of a dead goat from the property.
