Whitefish in running for 'most charming' ski town title

Whitefish is among 23 ski towns across America showcased in TripAdvisor’s “Most Charming Ski Vacations” online voting poll.

“You don’t need to empty your bank account to make memories on the slopes this year — especially not with so many classic small ski towns just a hop, skip, and a jump away,” the online travel site advises. “If you’re looking to pair big-mountain adventures with small-town charm off the slopes, look no further than these destinations — some bigger than others, but all less than 50 square miles in area. Whether you freestyle as hard as you party (Jackson Hole) or gallery-hop once the ski boots come off (Santa Fe), there’s a holiday here with your name on it.”

TripAdvisor, which bills itself as the world’s largest travel site, has more than 320 million reviews and opinions covering 6.2 million accommodations, restaurants and attractions.
