A former employee of a Whitefish clinic has been charged with a felony after allegedly using her employment at the clinic in an attempt to obtain painkillers.

Sissel Danielle Hall, 46, was charged Jan. 4 in Flathead District Court with fraudulently obtaining dangerous drugs.

According to court documents, Hall worked at Glacier Medical Associates in 2014, and on Feb. 18 of that year was reported as having called in a prescription for hydrocodone that she had allegedly forged using Dr. Daniel Munzing’s prescribing information.

Munzing informed investigators that faxing prescriptions was a part of Hall’s employment duties, but that Hall had been terminated after a pharmacist reported that he had received a prescription for hyrdocodone allegedly from Munzing. Munzing reported he had not written the prescription and the pharmacist did not fill it.

An arraignment date has not yet been set.
