'Solar Guy' in Kalispell for presentation

Brad Van Wert, a solar installer known as “Solar Guy,” will be making a presentation at 4 p.m. today at Kalispell Brewing Co., 412 Main St. in Kalispell.

Van Wert is affiliated with ChargeMT, a nonprofit collaborative endeavor including Renewable Northwest, the Montana Renewable Energy Association, NW Energy Coalition and Forward Montana Foundation. His Kalispell stop is part of a five-city whistle-stop tour to raise awareness about solar energy opportunities for economic development and energy independence in Montana.

Also featured at today’s presentation will be Jeff Arcel, chief executive officer of Aeon Renewable Energy, and local electrician Richard Cohen.
