Dustin James Hassler, 39

Dustin James Hassler, 39, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Kalispell Regional Medical Center surrounded by family and friends.

Dusty was born July 4, 1977 to James “Jim” and Rhonda “Roni” (Geddes) Hassler.

Dusty grew up in Kalispell, attending East Evergreen Elementary, Evergreen Junior High and Flathead High School.

Dusty met the love of his life Miranda Mortimer in the summer of 2001. They married Aug. 11, 2007. Their twin boys Tyler and Jacob and daughter

Kaleigh completed their family.

Dusty was a man of many trades in the construction industry. After the birth of his twin boys Dusty worked for Excel Painting for many years until he started work at Performance Heating and Air.

If you ever met Dusty, you had a friend for life. He brought comedy into every situation. Dusty not only lived for his family he lived to make people laugh. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Dusty was preceded in death by his father, Jim; grandparents, Fred and Mary Hassler, and Ruth Weaver.

Dusty is survived by his wife, Miranda; twin boys, Tyler and Jacob; and daughter, Kaleigh, all of Kalispell; mother, Rhonda “Roni” and stepfather, Don Wiebe of Kalispell; sisters, Keri of Everett, Washington, Lisa of Fallon, Nevada, and Stacie of Kalispell; grandfather, Ira “Ike” Weaver of Thompson Falls; mother-in-law, Cindy Mortimer; father-in-law, Rob Mortimer; nieces, Steffani and Maranda; nephews, Brayden and Kedryn; and numerous friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, July 7, at Performance Heating and Air in Evergreen.
