No. 24644 NOTICE OF PASSAGE OF RESOLUTION OF INTENTION BIGFORK ZONING DISTRICT The Board of Commissioners of Flathead County, Montana, hereby gives notice pursuant to Section 76-2-205(5), M.C.A., that it passed a Resolution of Intention (Resolution No. 956DG) on June 27, 2017 to change the zoning designation in a portion of the Bigfork Zoning District from AG-20 (Agricultural) to SAG-5 (Suburban Agricultural). The boundaries of the area proposed to be amended from AG-20 to SAG-5 are described as: Parcel A of Certificate of Survey No. 10082, located in the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 12, Township 27 North, Range 20 West, P.M.M., Flathead County, Montana. No. 24631 INVITATION TO BID: Notice is hereby given that the SOMERS RURAL FIRE DISTRICT is seeking bids for the construction of an addition/remodel of the existing Lakeside Fire Hall at 125 Bill's Road, Lakeside MT. The bidding documents include construction drawings dated 08-30-2016 and project manual dated 06-22-2017. The project consists of a 1,536 sf addition to the east side of the existing building and remodeling of the existing 2,048 sf existing building. The bids to be received are for a general contract with a lump sum fixed fee to include all items needed for a completed project from excavation to finish. Beginning June 22, 2017, the construction drawings and project manual, may be examined and purchased at Northwest Montana Plans Exchange at Kalispell Copy Center, 2303 Highway 2 East, Kalispell, MT. The Fire Hall will be open for viewing, and the Architect will be available to answer any questions and make clarifications. All general contractors and subcontractors are encouraged to attend. Each bidder shall submit a lump sum fixed fee bid including alternate cost options as described in the project manual. Bids must be on the project manual bid form and must include a contract start and completion date. Each bidder must deposit with his/her bid, a bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid. Bid security shall be payable to the Somers Rural Fire District, and shall be in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, money order, or bid bond executed by a surety corporation authorized to do business in Montana. No bidder may withdrawal the bid after the bid opening date. The selected bidder will, within 14 days, enter into a formal contract for the completion of the project. A Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond each in the amount of One Hundred percent (100%) of the contract sum will be required of the successful bidder. The successful bidder must contract to pay Montana Flathead County prevailing wage rates (Little Davis Bacon), as set by the Montana Department of Labor, and will be subject to withholding of 1% of all payments for transmittal to the Department of Revenue to pay the public contract tax. The use of AIA A105 contract between Owner and Contractor will be used. Monthly payments are subject to a 5% retainage being withheld until final project completion. Bids will be opened and read aloud on Tuesday July 11, 2017 @ 4:00 pm at the Lakeside Fire Hall at 125 Bill's Road, Lakeside MT. All bids must be sealed and clearly marked Lakeside Fire Department Addition. Bids received after the bid opening will not be accepted. Bids can also be mailed to Somers Rural Fire District, P.O. Box 203, Somers MT, 59932. Mailed bids must be postmarked by July 6, 2017. The Somers Rural Fire District reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities which are deemed to be in the best interest of the department.
