Victim of golf mishap requires tourniquet

Whitefish Police were called to Iron Horse Drive where a golf cart reportedly rolled onto a man’s foot. According to police logs, the man was bleeding, had a large laceration on the back of his heel and scrapes on his elbow. The reporting caller had another person nearby put a makeshift tourniquet on the injuries until help arrived.

A resident complained that she couldn’t sleep because of loud music and laughing coming from a nearby park. Police were unable to find any funny business at the park.

Three husky dogs were being allowed to run loose on Park Avenue and one resident was “tired of it.” Police offered to patrol the area.

A vagrant problem was reported to Whitefish Police. Three men were reportedly camping within city limits. Police told the men to move along.

Officers responded to a report of a combative woman at the state park. Police determined she wasn’t combative, just uncooperative.

A caller reported someone shooting off fireworks near Karrow Avenue and the Whitefish River. They were told to knock it off.

Report of two men on Colorado Avenue yelling at each other at 4:30 a.m.

A man told Kalispell Police he found a suspicious needle while mowing his lawn.

A woman allegedly attempted to steal a hat from a thrift store. The suspect accused employees of taking her medical marijuana and her pipe.

A suspicious man was allegedly walking around with a baseball bat looking into apartments.

A man claimed he was punched five times during a fight outside of a grocery store.

A group of men were reportedly being rude at a motel pool. One older man pushed someone into the pool. They were asked to leave.

A very tan man was reportedly beating on a car with a board he broke off a pallet.

A man told police that the food he picked up at a drive-thru was inadequate. When he returned the food, a person who claimed to be the manager allegedly cussed at him.

A hostile woman in a restaurant drive-thru was using foul language and slurring her words. Employees refused to serve the woman due to her behavior. She was later arrested.

A group of people were allegedly beating on a car and attempting to pull out the driver in a gym parking lot. One woman was bleeding from the face. A juvenile was cited for assault and released to his father.

Someone stole flags from two houses.
