Marvin Sudan, 66

Marvin Sudan passed away peacefully in his sleep at home in Kila on the second of June, 2017.

He was born in Kalispell on July 9, 1950. He graduated from Bigfork High School in 1968.

He was a loving husband, father and friend and will be sorely missed.

Marvin built a successful business for the past 23 years on a handshake and good faith. During his years of business he led as many as 10 employees operating four drilling rigs and a pump truck. He had many satisfied clients and became known as one the most qualified experts in well drilling and hydrology here in Northwest Montana.

He is survived by is wife of 35 years Kathleen, son Travis Sudan, daughters Tracey McGuire, and Kimberly Morrison, and nine grandchildren, all residing locally in the Flathead Valley.

He was preceded in death by both parents and a sister.

Marvin will be remembered for his outdoor activities such as multiple pack trips into the Bob Marshall Wilderness, boating, RVing and four wheeling. Marvin was known and respected for his attention to detail and thorough completeness in all of aspects of his life. His loss will be felt by many.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 9, at the Smith Valley Grange.
