Rosemary Joanna (Gardner) Swanson, 82

Rosemary Joanna (Gardner) Swanson, 82, died Monday, June 5, 2017, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

Rosemary was born on Dec. 11, 1934, in Wolf Point to Jesse and Josephine (Lindquist) Gardner.

Rosemary was raised in Kalispell.

In 1955 she married Henry Swanson in Portland. They were married for 49 years before his passing.

Rosemary worked for 40 years as a hairdresser in California. She loved to knit, crochet, needlepoint and play Words with Friends on her iPad.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Henry, a sister Lois Marsh, and brother Dallas Gardner.

She is survived by her son Craig Swanson, and daughter Lori (Swanson) Dearen, two brothers, Paul and Dale Gardner; brother-in-law Arnie Marsh; granddaughter Mohagony Swanson, and great-grandson Odin Swanson; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 14, at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery.
