Groundbreaking ceremony for new school set for June 13

The public is invited to attend a groundbreaking ceremony for the $15.2 million new elementary school to be located in south Kalispell.

The groundbreaking will be held from 4:30 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, on Airport Road.

People wishing to attend are advised to drive south on Airport Road past Teal Drive. Merganser Drive is on the right; take the first left after Merganser Drive.

The new school is part of a $22.3 million elementary district bond. The remainder of the bond will be used to renovate the district’s five existing elementary schools.
