WHITEFISH — The Glacier Twins A hung double-digit run totals on the scoreboard in both ends of a Saturday doubleheader, dismantling Cranbrook 11-1 and 13-5.

Glacier did the vast majority of its damage in Game 1 in the final two innings.

The Twins offense exploded for five runs in the bottom of the fifth inning and another five in the sixth inning.

Coby Clark-Dickenson led the offensive onslaught with two hits, two RBIs and two runs scored. Ryan Veneman, Tom Hellwig and Greyson Bistodeau also scored two runs apiece.

The top five batters in Glacier’s lineup combined for seven of the Twins’ eight hits, nine of 11 runs and seven of nine RBIs.

Clark-Dickenson tossed a run-rule-shortened complete game, allowing just one run on four hits and three walks in six innings of work.

The Glacier bats stayed hot in Game 2, as the Twins jumped on the Bandits for nine runs in the first two innings to pull away early.

Only six of Glacier’s 13 runs were earned, but the Twins made Cranbrook pay for its six errors.

Veneman powered the offense with four hits and four runs in the nightcap.

James Sampson-Keck, Brandon Thomas and Tyler Murphy each scored two runs.

Twins A returns to action today in a doubleheader at home against the Mission Valley Mariners. The first game is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
