Joan Dorothy Hutchison Storkson, 69

Joan Dorothy Hutchison Storkson, 69, died Saturday, April 1, 2017, at her daughter’s home in Cornelius, Oregon.

“The world lost a beautiful soul but heaven gained a beautiful, bright angel.”

Joan Storkson was born July 4, 1947, in Whitefish, the daughter of Orman Hutchison and Alice Weber Hutchison. Joan and her family lived in Whitefish and she attended Whitefish High School.

She married her first husband in 1965 and had her son Chuck Storkson. In 1966 she married her second husband Robert Dalberg and had her son Scott Storkson and her daughter Trisha Trump. Then on June 3, 1972, she married Carl Storkson and had her daughter Angela Storkson and son CJ (Carl John) Storkson.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Orman and Alice Hutchison; her son, CJ Storkson; her sisters, Ann Smith; and her brother, Ned Hutchison.

She is survived by her ex-husband, Carl Storkson; sons and daughters-in-law, Chuck and Cindy Storkson of Kalispell, and Scott and Donna Storkson of Columbia Falls; daughter and son-in-law, Trish and Jeff Trump, of Cornelius; and daughter, Angela Storkson, of Hot Springs. Also surviving are her nine grandchildren, Anthony Sundh, Kye Weber, Shyla Storkson, Edd Trump, Still, Cody, Travis and Victoria Mikesell, and Leya Anderson; and five great-grandchildren, Cameron, Alex and Aumen Mikesell, and Jayden and Lilly Emaleigh Storkson.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. July 3 at St. Charles Catholic Church, 230 Baker Ave., Whitefish.
