TeleTech hiring 100 new customer service reps
The local branch of the customer-service giant TeleTech announced last week that it is currently hiring for 100 new positions.
“This is from growth in our client’s faith in the team and quality of workforce in the Kalispell area,” said Olivia Griner, media relations specialist with TeleTech. “We have been consistently hiring in the area, however, this is a new need and desire to grow the workforce at the site.”
TeleTech, which employs 48,000 people worldwide, first opened its Kalispell call center more than a decade ago. In addition to its customer-support call centers, the company also offers consulting, growth solutions and other outsourced services.
During the labor shortage last summer, TeleTech was among the many businesses seeking employees and raised its wages by 20 percent to help attract workers.
Griner said TeleTech’s competitive wages, immersive training, tuition reimbursement and community outreach programs, as well as its company culture have helped it to stay ahead in a challenging labor market.
“It [the labor shortage] is both positive, meaning that our clients need the added support, and it makes it challenging to continuously attrack new employees to support the growth, but we’ve been successful in finding great talent in Kalispell,” she said.
The Kalispell call center will be hosting a hiring event June 27 and 29 to fill the new openings. The positions are open to anyone with customer service experience, a high school degree and strong computer skills, according to a press release.
“Whether that person is a recent graduate, adept at managing a host of digital channels simultaneously or a veteran, with proven leadership, discipline and collaboration skills, we recognize the unique value that each individual can provide in creating customer engagement and match our associates with the right opportunity to drive success,” Griner said.
The Kalispell hiring events will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 27 and Thursday, June 29. TeleTech is located at 1203 Highway 2 W. in Kalispell. For more information visit www.teletechjobs.com, or contact either Amy Deitrick at 406-751-3110 or Abram Slama at 406-751-3103.
