Group reported for yelling at cars

A resident of South Main Street called Kalispell Police to report a group of people for gathering at a street corner every Friday night for an hour to “yell at cars through a bullhorn.”

A man was allegedly caught stealing batteries from a grocery store.

A white and brown male pit bull was reportedly seen running in and out of traffic on Seventh Street West and Main Street.

A hotel guest accidentally called police instead of the hotel’s front desk to ask if they had any toothbrushes. The caller hung up before providing a room number.

A generator was reportedly stolen out of the back of a truck while it was parked in front of a grocery store, according to a Columbia Falls Police report.

Two vehicles were reportedly broken into while parked on Ninth Street West.

Someone reportedly vandalized a vehicle parked on 10th Street West by breaking a taillight and scratching the paint.

An abandoned bike was found on Third Avenue West and stored at the police department.

A Weston terrier was found near the waterslide in Columbia Falls and taken to the county animal shelter, according to a Whitefish Police report.
