| March 1, 2017 9:29 PM

A woman called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office to report a strange man knocking on her door. The woman claimed she did not recognize the man and would not answer her door. The woman later realized that she had hired the man to paint her house and told authorities not to bother responding.

An argument broke out between a man and a deputy when the man called to report his estranged wife had broken into his house and taken items. The deputy advised the man on “community property laws” and the man allegedly started playing the “what if game.” According to the report, the man refused to accept that his wife had a right to get her belongings from the house.

An angry mother called to report a reckless driver allegedly speeding down her street at 40 miles an hour, spraying snow on her son as they passed.

The Kalispell Police Department received a call from an unknown number. The officer said there was noise in the background that sounded like either beat-boxing or laundry. The phone was deactivated and officers were unable to call the beat-boxing washing machine back.

People were reportedly seen throwing vegetables from their home at passing cars. The reporting person identified the vegetables as potatoes and tomatoes.

A man with a large dog was reported for stealing a pack of Nicorette gum from a local store. The employee stated that the man paid for his other items but stuck the gum in his pocket.
