The Great Falls Police Department has called off its search for a wanted Kalispell man who remains at large and is believed to be armed and dangerous.

Authorities stated they believe Marcus Wayne Logan, 42, was able to escape the Great Falls area on Thursday afternoon.

Logan was last seen on foot in the Gibson Flats residential area of Great Falls.

Officers blocked off streets, preventing residents from entering or leaving their homes until the search was called off around 8 p.m. Thursday.

Great Falls resident Mary Catherine Duffy, 52, was arrested Thursday as Logan’s suspected accomplice, according to reports from the Great Falls Tribune.

Police have advised that Logan is still wanted and is considered armed and dangerous. He is described as 5-10 and 180 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair. He is wanted for violations of conditions of his release.

Logan was sentenced to four years with the Flathead County Department of Correction in 2014 for criminal possession of precursors to dangerous drugs with part of that sentence suspended.

According to records, Logan also has two prior convictions from 2001 for deceptive practices and criminal production or manufacturing of dangerous drugs.
