Brewery hosts 'Science on Tap' tonight

Glacier National Park Superintendent Jeff Mow will discuss the increasing challenges in managing Glacier National Park during tonight’s “Science on Tap” at Flathead Lake Brewing Co. Pubhouse in Bigfork.

The free talks are part of a fundraising program sponsored by the Flathead Lakers and the University of Montana’s Flathead Lake Biological Station.

During his presentation, Mow will discuss the impacts of rising visitation, invasive species and climate change, as well as the importance of scientific understanding to protect national parks for future generations.

The presentation is tonight at 6 p.m. Flathead Lake Brewing will donate $1 for every pint sold from 5 to 8 p.m.
