Bovines flee from future as food

Two Black Angus cows were reportedly seen running up and down Vanderwood Road, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office. The person reporting the bovines was unable to identify an owner.

Someone reported a bike that was in a snow bank for several days near Nevada Avenue. The person asked to keep the bike if it went unclaimed.

A patron at a bar reportedly chucked a shot glass at the bartender before leaving in his car. The male was trespassed from the property.

Someone reported being threatened by a man wielding a gun near Vermont Avenue. The alleged victim claimed not to know his attacker.

A resident of Colorado Avenue reported the theft of his vehicle ramps.

A dark figure was allegedly seen “prowling around” a residence on Parmenter Drive.

An eighth of a cord of wood was reportedly stolen from a business on U.S. 2.

Three dogs were reportedly running loose on U.S. 2. The dogs were described as a yellow lab, a small shepherd and an Australian shepherd.

A van’s window was allegedly smashed while it was parked overnight on U.S. 2.

A resident reported a verbal disturbance to the Kalispell Police Department after hearing pounding and screaming at the door of another apartment on Fifth Avenue East. Four subjects, one of whom had a bloody face, were allegedly attempting to break down the door with a hammer and vase.

A debit card that was reported stolen from a resident of Charlotte Avenue was allegedly used for seven purchases valued at more than $1,400 in New York.

A resident of Haven Drive reported a black lab wearing a red harness wandering around in the front yard.

An abandoned bike was found while crews were clearing snow on First Avenue West North. The bike was turned over to the Kalispell Police Department.

A tenant on East Idaho Street reported seeing a man staggering around and trying to break into vehicles. Officers spoke with a man outside working on a vehicle who stated he had not seen anyone else out there.

Someone reported a woman for allegedly pulling up to a dumpster and sitting there staring at an apartment complex for over an hour. The reporting person claimed the incident had occurred multiple times before.

A man called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office to report a man knocking on the window of his home in Lakeside and claiming he had hypothermia. The resident said he did not know the man.

Two huskies were reported missing from their home on Haven Drive in Kalispell. Both were said to have collars but no tags and had a history of attacking livestock.

A Columbia Falls resident’s missing wallet was later reported stolen when someone allegedly used one of the owner’s missing debit cards.

The manager of a car rental company reported a rented car stolen after it was allegedly not returned four days after it was due.

A flock of geese received a shock after a golf course employee fired a rifle in order to scare the unwanted geese away.
