| March 11, 2017 9:14 PM

Paul Henry Crosby, 82, of Kalispell, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, at his home.

He was born on May 15, 1934, to William Crosby and Helen Walker of McKeesport, Pennsylvania, where he grew up.

He married his loving wife of 60 years Barbara Ann German on Sept. 8, 1956.

Paul loved his country dearly and entered the U.S. Armed Forces, first in the naval branch; then the Air Force where he proudly served and retired as a master sergeant after 24 years of dedicated service.

Paul lived a rich and full life leaving an incredible legacy. His happiest moments were spent with his loved ones, enjoying being with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and looking forward to the many family gatherings over the years.

Paul is survived by his wife, Barbara; son Paul “P.J.” Crosby and his wife, Ellen; daughter Stephanie Ricks, and her husband, Ken; son David Crosby and his wife Yvonne; daughter Renee Hart and her husband, Jerry; sister Nancy Capane and her husband, Moe; six grandchildren; nine great-grandhchildren and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jimmy Crosby, and grandson Andrew Ricks.

His devotion to his family was fueled by his love of Jesus. Not only was he a student of the word of God, but he also loved to teach it as well. Written on the inside cover of his well-worn and much-loved Bible is a testament to Paul who embraced life with gusto. “Though none go with me, still I will follow ... no turning back, no turning back”.

Funeral services will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home, 525 South Main St. in Kalispell with public viewing from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service.

Graveside committal service with military honors will take place directly after the funeral at Conrad Memorial Cemetary.
