A Kalispell man lost his revocation hearing Thursday after allegedly breaking parole.

Ronald Jay Goodsell, 36, was convicted of felony theft and accountability to forgery and received a seven-year sentence to Montana State Prison, which was suspended in February 2016.

Judge Robert Allison revoked the suspended sentence in Flathead District Court on March 9 following multiple reports of violations.

Court documents state Goodsell failed to report to his parole officer and left his probation district without permission in violation of his release conditions.

Goodsell was sentenced to serve his seven-year sentence in Montana State Prison, but will be recommended for intensive supervision project, which would allow him to remain in the community during his sentence.
