Two requests to rezone agricultural land into smaller parcels will be considered by the Bigfork Land Use Advisory Committee on Thursday.

WGM Group, on behalf of Dwight and Ann Lamm, want to change the zoning on 21.9 acres at 6955 Montana 35 from AG-20, agricultural zoning with a 20-acre minimum lot size to SAG-5, suburban agricultural with a 5-acre minimum lot size. The property is located within the Bigfork Zoning District.

A request by Mary Jo Naive and River Road Properties LLC has asked for a similar zone change for 20 acres at 196 and 322 Slow Down Lane near Bigfork. If approved the zoning would change from AG-20 to SAG-5. The property is located within the Bigfork Zoning District.

The advisory committee meets at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 30, at Bethany Lutheran Church. The committee makes recommendations on land-use requests that are then forwarded to the Flathead County Planning Board for further consideration.
