No. 24383 West Glacier School # 8 RESOLUTION OF INTENT TO IMPOSE AN INCREASE IN LEVIES As an essential part of its budgeting process, the West Glacier School Board of Trustees is authorized by law to impose levies to support its budget. The West Glacier School Board of Trustees estimates the following increase/decreases in revenues and mills for the funds noted below for the next school fiscal year beginning July 1, 2017, using certified taxable valuations from the current school fiscal year as provided by the district. Building Reserve Fund. Estimated change in revenues: $22,300. Estimated change in Mills: increase 3.54 mills. Estimated impact on a home of $100,000 is $4.78 increase and on a home of $200,000 $9.57 increase. Regarding the increase in the building reserve levy referenced above, the following are school facility maintenance projects anticipated to be completed at this time are Repair and Maintenance of West Glacier School Buildings. The District intends to use the permissive Building Reserve levy for: 1. Installation of 3 covered walkways. 2. Replace furnaces in the older part of the building. 3. No. 24384 NOTICE OF CLOSE OF REGULAR VOTER REGISTRATION AND OPTION FOR LATE REGISTRATION Notice is hereby given by the undersigned Clerks of West Glacier, School District #8 Monica Young, Clerk Flathead County, State of Montana that regular registration for the Annual School Election to be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, will close at 5:00 pm on April 3, 2017. NOTE: If you miss this regular registration deadline, you may still register for the election by showing up at the county election office up to and including on Election Day. Between noon and the close of business on the day before Election Day, you can complete and submit a voter registration card, but you will need to return to the local election office on Election Day to pick up and vote a ballot. All active and inactive electors of the above named school districts are entitled to vote at said election. To be included in Notice if Polling Place Election: Inactive electors may reactivate by appearing at the polling place in order to vote, by requesting an absentee ballot in any election, or by notifying the county election administrator in writing of the elector's current address in the county.
