Man reports escape from attempted stabbing

A man reported being chased from a hotel by a man attempting to stab him with a knife on First Avenue East, according to the Kalispell Police Department. The man claimed to have been cut on the leg as a result of the incident but was unsure whether it was from the knife or from falling on the ground.

Three kids were reportedly riding a four-wheeler without helmets near Harrison Boulevard.

A man was reported for yelling and waking up residents near Woodland Avenue. When authorities arrived, the man told them he had been trying to “call out” whoever had stolen duffle bags he had stashed by a pavilion in the park. The man was advised to keep it down.

A gun was reported stolen from Harlequin Center.

A woman reported a man driving a white car had been following she and her roommate to and from work and driving past their house, according to Whitefish Police.

A little black Chihuahua was seen running toward the railway near Columbia Avenue.

A dog described as a chow mix was seen on Evergreen Drive. The reporting person told the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office the dog appeared to be injured.

Someone reported the theft of a gun from a home on Minnesota Avenue.

A mailbox was allegedly stolen from a home on Riparian Drive and replaced with a real estate sign, according to a Columbia Falls Police report. When the homeowner called the real estate office, the office said they had nothing to do with it.
