Nothing but a hound dog, shopping

A lost hound dog repeatedly attempted to enter a store on U.S. 2 East and finally succeeded when an employee brought him in to call animal control. The dog was transported by a Flathead County Sheriff’s deputy to the county shelter.

A female driver allegedly swung a bat out her window at another driver. The reporting person said the woman had flipped her off before and had a history of road rage.

A father allegedly took his son’s clothes to a thrift store without his permission.

Two men were reportedly given three compound hunting bows by a male asking them to sell them. The men feared the items might have been stolen and are holding onto the bows until authorities can check into the report further.

Two dogs, a husky and lab, were taken to the county shelter after a man found them roaming around Dawn Drive in Columbia Falls. The man was unable to fully describe the dogs because he is colorblind.

A man reportedly approached someone’s home, claiming someone was trying to kill him and that he needed a place to hide. The homeowner told the man to go hide in a field and to get off his porch.

A man allegedly disappeared into a bowling alley after abandoning his taxi driver without paying his bill, according to a report by the Whitefish Police Department.

A small, fluffy, yellow dog was reportedly seen running at large on Central Avenue.

A woman told the Kalispell Police Department that she was beaten and robbed by a man on Hutton Ranch Road. The man allegedly stole more than $3,000 from her and headed north on U.S. 93.

A box of brand new brake pads and jumper cables were found and collected near a church on Fourth Avenue West.

Someone reported seeing a young boy walking alone down First Avenue West with no shoes, no coat and soaking wet pants. Authorities made sure the boy got home safely.

A man was reportedly attacked by another man who asked him to step outside his fenced yard and smacked him on the shoulder. The alleged victim said he had previously asked the man not to let his dog urinate near the fence.

Vandalism at J. Neils Memorial Park was reported to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office after someone allegedly ran over the gates and spun “brodies” in the fields.

A boxer was reportedly running around on Louisiana and Sixth streets, chasing kids and causing traffic hazards.

A 10-year-old reportedly took off in his father’s car in an attempt to run away.
