Kalispell man denies distribution charges
A 32-year-old man denied drug distribution charges on April 20.
Thomas Scott Salsgiver of Kalispell pleaded not guilty in Flathead District Court to allegations that he sold methamphetamine to a confidential informant from the Northwest Montana Drug Task Force.
According to court documents, the informant notified authorities that Salsgiver would be willing to sell an “eight ball” of methamphetamine for $200.
The informant allegedly met Salsgiver at an undisclosed location and was sold a white crystalline substance that later tested positive for meth.
A trial has been set for Oct. 10.
If convicted, Salsgiver could face up to life in prison and a maximum fine of $50,000.
