379 students to graduate from FVCC on Friday

Flathead Valley Community College will graduate its 49th class on Friday, May 12 during the college’s spring commencement ceremony. This will be the first time in the college’s history that the ceremony will be held on campus.

FVCC will recognize 379 students for completing graduation requirements during the 2016-17 academic year.

The ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. on the campus lawn adjacent to the Rebecca Chaney Broussard Center for Nursing and Health Science.

The college will award 351 associate degrees and 70 certificates. Some students will receive more than one degree, certificate or both. The commencement speaker will be former FVCC student, Maj. Jason Curtis, a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, combat veteran and former F-16 pilot for the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds.
