Commission to take up Quiet Waters Initiative

The Montana Fish and Wildlife Commission has rescheduled a meeting to take action on the Quiet Waters Initiative rule proposal for Friday, May 26, at 8:30 a.m.

The Commission will hold a work session at the department’s headquarters in Helena on May 25, beginning at 4 p.m. The work session will include an overview of the proposed rules. The commission will then reconvene at Montana WILD on May 26 to make a final decision.

The meeting will be streamed live at all regional Fish, Wildlife and Parks offices. The commission will take public comment on the rule proposal at the May 26 meeting. Both the work session and meeting will be audio streamed live online at www.fwp.mt.gov.
