POLSON — Polson wrapped up regular season Northwest A softball play by taking a doubleheader from Whitefish on Friday.

Haley Fyant, Kaylanna Desjarlais and Paige Noyes were all 3 for 3 in the opener, an 18-0 victory.

Fyant doubled in a run and homered to center with one runner on, all in a 12-run third inning in the second outing, for a 20-1 Polson victory.

Fyant, Camas Renault and Ashley Benson combined for a no-hitter in the finale.

The Pirates (14-7 overall, 3-3 league) will compete as the No. 3 seed from Northwest A at the Class A state softball tournament next week in Sidney.
