Today is the final day of the spring tours at Bibler Home and Gardens in Kalispell, and the flower gardens are at their peak.

The tours are hosted by the Flathead Valley Community College Foundation in partnership with the Bibler Foundation. All of the funds raised from the tours go to student scholarships at FVCC.

“This is a great partnership,” said Sue Evans, director of Foundation Finance and Administration. “We really appreciate it.”

Evans is at nearly every tour and has been for the last decade. She coordinates the volunteers who staff the tours making it possible for all the proceeds to go to scholarships.

The tours tend to sell well or sell out completely because the size is kept small.

“We get a lot of repeats on these tours,” said Evans. “But then we also get people up there every year who say they have never been before.”

Summer tour dates begin July 18-21 and it is recommended to get tickets early. The July tours will happen twice daily at 4:30 and 7 p.m.

Two final tours are scheduled for Aug. 1 and 3. Those tours will take place at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Ticket prices start at $15. For more information call the college at 756-3632.
