Two people were injured in a motorcycle crash at the intersection of Willow Glen Drive and U.S. 93 in Kalispell on Tuesday afternoon.

According to Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Rick Mehring, the man and woman, both Kalispell residents, struck an oncoming passenger car on their motorcycle when the car failed to yield and turned left in front of them.

The couple was transported to Kalispell Regional Medical Center. The extent of their injuries was unknown.

The incident prompted the response of the Evergreen, Kalispell and South Kalispell fire departments, the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office, the Kalispell Police Department and Montana Highway Patrol.

Mehring said the driver of the passenger car has been charged with failure to yield.
