Suspects hoof it from crime scene

According to the Kalispell Police Department call logs, a caller thought someone was breaking into their neighbor’s home. Although the caller couldn’t see anything, they reported hearing kicking noises and said it sounded like someone fell into the bushes and ran away. When law enforcement checked out the area they couldn’t find any people around, but found lots of deer prints in the snow.

A woman called and said she was removed from her residence by law enforcement. She wasn’t supposed to go back, but she went back anyway and found her cat was missing. She thought officers threw her cat out too.

A caller said someone was turning on her outside water and it ended up flooding her neighbor’s house.

A broken bike was found inside a car wash.

A woman who was driving was afraid someone was following her. She drove to the police station, but the vehicle was no longer following her.

A tow-truck driver said a man who was slurring his words high-centered his vehicle. The man who was driving the vehicle reportedly offered to give the tow-truck driver $100 cash and left the scene. The man reportedly called law enforcement from home later to report a motor vehicle accident.

According to the Whitefish Police Department a resident “tracked” suspicious activity around their home when they noticed shoe prints in the snow indicating someone had walked up to the door.

According to the Montana Department of Transportation, large rocks on the road were causing a traffic hazard on Highway 35 north of Finley Point.
