Resident thwarts wood-pile thief

According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, a man reportedly backed his Jeep up to a resident’s wood pile and it looked like he was going to load up the wood. When the resident asked what he was doing the man reportedly asked if the wood was for sale and left.

A caller said a man was shooting at a deer in a residential neighborhood.

According to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office, a woman said her ex-boyfriend wouldn’t let her have her belongings. Then he started throwing her things into the yard and telling her to come get them. The woman said she had go to there four different times to retrieve her things.

A caller witnessed a white pickup tailgating a school bus.

A man reportedly left a backpack in a shop that contained “weird things” and possibly drugs.

A caller reported graffiti and human waste all over the place in a bathroom.

A Kalispell man said when he returned to his home there was an extra dog in his yard “just hanging out.”

According to the Kalispell Police Department, a “good natured” couple was moving through the area and had nowhere to stay. They checked with shelters but they reportedly had no room. They asked to stay on the floor of the lobby at the Sheriff’s Office for the night.

A woman said her ex had her vehicle towed to be vindictive.
