Kalispell man charged with stabbing man 12 times

A Kalispell man is facing felony charges after allegedly stabbing another man a dozen times at a party over the weekend.

Spencer Blaney, 20, is being held on charges of attempted deliberate homicide at the Flathead County Detention Center.

According to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a call at an outdoor party on Trumble Creek Road in Columbia Falls at 10:11 p.m. Friday.

According to their investigation, Blaney allegedly stabbed a 23-year-old Kalispell man during the party.

The victim was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center in a private vehicle. He is reported to be in stable condition after undergoing surgery.
