Michael Shawn Rowe, 49

Michael Shawn Rowe, 49, died Nov. 16, 2017.

He was born Dec. 4, 1967. He lived most of his life in Columbia Falls and attended schools there.

He enjoyed ranch work and always remembered his time working the Cooney Ranch in Harlowton as some of his fondest times.

Coaching his daughters’ softball teams was a big part of his life. Driving them to tournaments was always a huge reward for him. He was very proud of their softball talent.

Michael Shawn loved the North Fork, especially floating the Flathead and camping at Blankenship.

Michael Shawn is survived by his mother and stepfather, Susan and Kim Conklin; his best friend and brother, Matt Bohmer, and wife Ann; longtime companion, Heather Fitzpatrick; daughters, Morgan Rowe, Shaun Rowe and Brandy Bigger; and son, Rick Rowe; and six grandchildren, Kadence, Kenna, Kyler, Oakley, Kennalee, Russell and Liam. He is also loved and missed by his two nieces and 11 cousins. His Rowe aunts and uncles remember him more as a baby brother than a nephew.

At the time of his death he was working for the Hungry Horse Water District.
