Conrad Mansion Museum begins holiday tours this weekend

| November 23, 2017 1:51 PM

The Conrad Mansion Museum has announced its Christmas season events schedule. The fully decorated museum and its two-story tree — a cherished Conrad tradition — provide the backdrop during Christmas Tours, Holiday Teas and Tours, the Children’s Christmas, the Christmas Choir and “A Christmas Carol — Old Time Radio Show.” The outside grounds are filled with lights and the gazebo will house the restored Nativity.

During Christmas Tours, guests will learn about the Conrad family’s Christmas traditions. Featured this year are a variety of 100-plus-year-old quilts on display. Christmas Tours are given at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays from Nov. 24 through Dec. 23, and Dec. 26-31. Admission is $15 for adults, $14 for seniors, $8 for students and $6 for children. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 406-755-2166.

After the Christmas Tours, guests can enjoy an elegant traditional tea in the Conrad dining room during the Holiday Teas and Tours, which will take place at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturdays, Nov. 25, Dec. 2, 16 and 23. Admission is $35 per person. Reservations are required by the Monday before the tour.

The Christmas Choir program will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Christmas music will be performed in the Great Hall by the Valley Voices Choral Evensong. Cost is $15 per person. Reservations are required.

“A Christmas Carol — Old Time Radio Show” will be presented by the Bigfork Community Players at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Dec. 15 and 16, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17. Doors open 30 minutes before the performance, and admission is $20 per person. Reservations are required.

The Conrad Mansion Museum is located at 330 Woodland Ave. in Kalispell.
