Officials ID couple killed in Nov. 21 crash

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office has released the names of the victims of a fatal single-vehicle crash on U.S. 2 just west of McGregor Lake Lodge on Nov. 21.

They have been identified as Justin Edward Novak, 31, and Rose Mari Novak, 33, of Kalispell.

The couple was killed after the vehicle they were in hit black ice and slid off of the road. Both were ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead on scene. The four other occupants of the vehicle were transported to the Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The crash is under investigation by the Montana Highway Patrol.
